All I know is that Windows is 10x more annoying because of the numlock key and the inability to use the keypad without hitting it first. I've tried pressing the keys fn + f6, as well as pressing option key 5 times, as most websites I've viewed have suggested, but it doesn't seem to be working. The Num Lock key, long overlooked and neglected, is in the opinion of many a total waste of space.

Got really tired of the keypad not working. Keys like these don't need to be touch-typed and should thus require that a modifier key be held down when activating them. The day you get a bounce from your message to me you will know that I will no longer be here. You'll spam your skill till you turn it off in the script editor. When you engage the Num Lock key it deactivates most of the standard character keys, and allows you to type that third character that appears on the group of keys I mentioned before. If intermittently, sometimes it won't work if you have pressed the mouse button and not let go. Look hard at your keyboard.
