Wait for three seconds prior to proceeding. All this time I just though it was the place where the air came in under the bunk for the rear blower motor. Total data link resistance should be 60 ohms. Me thinks techs don't take the time to get the sensors set correctly, it took me about 30 minutes each side to set them at. That code will disable traction and stability controls. There should be one for each wheel. I've been having same problem on '08 cascadia.
Can you help me sir , Actually I have buy Freightliner Cascadia 2014 model 4 month ago. These sensors are not easy to move in and out for this adjustment and one can easily damage the sensor trying to pry it in or out while mounted. Sadly, what you get today from Freightliner is nothing like they built back then. Use a tiny flat head driver, eyeglass size, and use it to slip down behind each pin hole and pry the metal slightly inward so the pins are sure to fit snug with good contact when plugged back together. Replace as required © Copyright Drakefield Limited 2007-2008. I noticed it happens more often on long downhill. One shop found a bad sensor, and replaced it.
If I'm not drivin it, I'm fixin it If its a pinched wire in the colume, it was pinched when they built this truck, it did it in front of the salesman as he took my picture with the new truck, they have tried numerous times under warranty, and now they say 300+ is gonna fix it. Bought this Freightliner that is in continuing state of attention.
Hope it's true that it's not a violation. If this is true does anyone know where these things are. Thank you, Georg Georg, mine is behind a plastic panel that just looks like an air box. You have any idea that what a exact problem? He wrote on the receipt what the problem is and that part is on order and that customer has been advised thatit is not against dot regs to operate the vehicle the way it is. I took it off to clean and was surprised to find a computer there.
This doesn't happen all the time, sometimes days in between, then it happens for a few minutes and stops. Try re-making all the connections on the Wabco box. The sad thing is if you bumped into me in the mid 70's,when 10 of our 34 semi's where Freightliners, I'd be telling you they were as good of a truck as you could buy. My 2003 Freight liner Columbia has a code that turns on the dash light and there is a direct correlation to when it is wet outside. You'd find that same type of plug near the engine as well as several other places around the truck. Same start-up as Rev D © Barry Brideau 2003-2018. Press and hold the momentary test button under dash panel for one to two seconds.
Its not a solid light, it flashes intermittently. They also said it is not against dot regs to run with abs not working and they do dot inspections. On our 2003 tag axle coach, that's 8 clicks. A yellow warning light is merely a 'get repaired soon' type of thing. The lamp will turn off and the blink code will be displayed: 1-1 indicates no system faults. . .
As usual, dynamite's spot-on about adjustment of the sensor. This fault will not affect normal service braking. Been expediting about 5 months now. The wheel bearing issue would make sense. .
The braking force is applied at a level that minimizes the stopping distances while maintaining as much lateral stability as possible. The Modulator Valves can be operated in the air, release or hold modes to regulate air pressure to the brake chambers. That data link also has 2 terminating resistors that are 120 ohms each. Apply and release the service brake pedal once. When I pulled it, it was again apparent dirt, and more likely salt, had worked it's way past the rubber gaskets with the molded in o-rings. I'm not familiar with your truck, so I don't know of any common places to look.
To replace them without removing the hub, you have to remove two large bolts holding the sensor housing on and takes a few tries to get the tolerance correct. Problem is getting more persistent and irritating me. Check that it is clean and making good connections. Shut it off for the night and next day light is out until I get about half way thru my run. I have read before that sensors on these things are prone to dirt build up. Another possibility, though, is that the tone ring is easily rusted or corroded.
Also had an M-2; also had the ghost wiper. The motorhome will need to go to a service center to repair the problem. Light still comes on and goes off. First, listen for the clicks when you turn the key but don't start the engine. Typically a wiring issue and it could be anywhere the data link runs.
