Victor's presets translate over just fine to the plugin version. The chains offer tons of variety and significantly expand your sonic options. Pulling it down will give you less send, and less reverb. Brainworx can't even get a noise gate right. With the Input Gain cranked and the Power Soak turned down, you can drive the amps even harder. It enriches the midrange frequencies, effectively doubling the number of basic sounds available to you in Channel 2.
It is so articulate and clear, even at high-gain settings. Cabinet models are automatically paired with both amps and can be changed using the Recording Chains feature described below. Again, the bottom section is devoted to guitar tone, this time with four channels of settings to compare and contrast, with Clean, Crunch and two devoted Lead channels. For additional tone control, Channel 1 has a Bright switch and Channel 2 a midrange-boost called Tone. Take two The immediate control set of the E765 is the simpler of the pair, with twin channels allowing you to dial in contrasting Gain, Bass, Mid, Treble and Volume controls on Channels 1 and 2 before A-B'ing them to pick the right sound for your mix. It's realistic, versatile, and deep. Very nice tone, very thick, not harsh, gives me feedback on sustain too!!! As a byproduct it got out of the way tone-wise with the bass track in the same piece.
Also a lifelong guitarist, his music can. Easily and seemingly infinitely tweekable. But the tools are only as good as the craftsman using the tools. Each channel has independent Bass, Middle, Treble, Volume, and Gain controls. I just wanted to express my deepest accolades for this particular amp sim. Not just for high gain! Use Load Preset from the drop-down menu to select the amp you saved. This is probably the most realistic sounding amp sim I've heard to date.
This amp delivers some of the most beautiful clean and crunchy sounds! Universal Audio's new plug-ins are screamers. Channel 2's Tone button fattens up the sound in both Gain stages. This is simply the most realistic emulation of a guitar amp out there - period. The noise gate on this thing has the worst decay I have ever heard in a gate. Adjusted and dialed in for the modern metal guitar player.

Amazing simulation of an amp! I do tend to favor less high-gain type sounds, but lower gain sounds are available here if you work harder to dial them in. Four channels of pure tube attack power deliver the widest modern range of tones you can expect from an amp. Very versatile, rocking amp for anything from Jazz to Hard Rock.
Just bought the plugin after another trip to the music store. The E646 plugin faithfully delivers all the fast attack, punchy rhythm, furious lead tones and the modern, sparkling clean sounds of the original amp. This is one of the best amp sims I've played. If you're into heavy metal and that type of tone then you may like it. I have tried almost all Guitar Amps plugins out there and this is simply in a class by itself. I am using a Mac Pro, so resource constraint is not the issue. Channel 2's Tone button fattens up the sound in both Gain stages.
I really gives me the feel of a great amp with a 4X12. A global Gain Boost lets you add more crunch or distortion. The resulting tones, which would take tons of gear, time and expertise to achieve, can be selected from a simple menu inside the plugin. This amp can do amazing cleans all the way to brutal metal. Through meticulous component modeling, that plugin version also captures the smooth, sonic transition of well-selected channel layouts including an adjustable Mid Boost switch in order to create modern rock tones from sustained shining clean to a vintage vibe crunch sound.

I will always get the error message when I quit Logic, and I have confirmed this plugin to be the culprit. Just buy it you won't be disappointed. Not Impressed Maybe my expectations are too high but I have been thoroughly unimpressed with amp sims in general and this one fits right in to the mediocrity. It gets five stars from me.
