I'm tempted to delete a large chunk of this code scrolling but want to make sure I understand it and know it is ok. Once I click on one cell I can't stop the highlighting from happening. I would however like it to be that they click the button and it scrolls down though. I'm having a problem in a workbook with several ActiveX command buttons. Does that clear things up? Is there a way to lock the position, let's say , in the upper right corner and have it stay there? I want to create a userform with listbox with radio button and commandbutton on the same which will help me to connect to each url when I select the same in listbox and click on the commandbutton. It seems that all copy and pasting of formulas in my excel has been disabled. I can't think of anything in my macro that would have these kinds of effects. I have been trying to learn macros but have not made one yet. Nor do I want to take focus away from whatever the ActiveWindow is to make my adjustments to the various sheets in question. The problem is that it stops in the middle of the macro, right after it opens the specific workbook, when I run it in excel but it runs all the way through if I use Visual Basic Editor. I have a fairly lengthy macro that works perfectly most of the time. I'm new to macros and would appreciate any help this board can offer.
This spreadsheet is getting sent to hunderds of people in my company and I dont think too many people know about enabling macros. However, as noted, the macro takes a long time to run. Trouble is I've forgotten how to unhide those columns. The workaround is to disable the screen and events, switch to the sheet, make your settings and switch back. It just takes some information in one format, rearranges it, adds some formatting and performs some calculations. Probably the right thing to do anyway. Column Unfortunatly both the scrollrow and scrollcolumn props don't work and neither does the ActiveWindow. While the macro runs, I minimize the running workbook, and select another workbook that I work in while I wait for the macro to complete. I have experience with creating macros that reference different workbooks, but not sure how to go about opening files with different filenames without referencing the exact filename. When the data is saved, I want the new excel sheet to be saved to a location specified within the macro so the user doesn't have any options and I want the title of the new file to be the value of one of the cells.
