While driving for short periods of time the consumer experienced brake failure. Once the electricity is disconnected from the solenoid, the magnetic field disappears and a spring returns the plunger and valve to their original position. It didn't just go out, it was completely destroyed because most of the clutches fell out when the pan was pulled. It was in the shop before for the same exact problem which resulted in 1 of the 3 new transmissions. I appreciate any insight in advance. There are clonking and ticking sounds coming from the transmission just from shifting from drive to reverse,reverse to drive. Park again and go back in.
We have had 3 new transmissions not including the factory one. I would like to know if there is a recall being considered at this time?. Told me to disable it. Consumer had the vehicle in the shop 3 times, all due to transmission and engine related problems. Be bought it brand new so we would be less likely to have problems. The child pulled the shift lever out of park and the truck ran away down an incline. Which conversion kit is it? Heaters changes options on its own.
A ticking noise developed on acceleration. Take back to dealership again and told they have to reprogram and they need for a whole day to do this. But the service department where we get the truck's oil changed at isn't very good at doing their job. This can all be done without removing the transmission. He had the receipts available. They have had since Feb 22, 2018 almost a month now.
Remove the 1-2 accumulator valve 371 and the 1-2 accumulator valve spring 370. Our bailout money did not go to good use with this company. No further incidents have happened yet, but it is constantly on my mind. Were normal operation of the transmission. Took it back next day and told have to drive for 2,000+ miles so the vehicle learns me and how I drive. The feel of the vehicle isn't right like if its dog tracking. It hesitated until felt like a gear caught and then into traffic instead of going when it needed to go.
Does anyone have any experience with this issue? Gave a system service warning about the Had to shut off truck and then it would return to 2X. So we replaced the Torque converter and transmission with another one, which was fried so he sold the truck to me because he was done with it. Make sure all the electrical connections having to do with the transmission are clean and tight. My bottom line is that I have searched all over, and I have yet to find one consistent answer to this problem that seems to be quite common. At times I really have to shove the gear shift into 1st gear when stopped.
I went to down shift from 4th to second for a stoplight and the gear shift just seemed to float wherever it wanted. With the assembly out you can inspect the reaction plate and determine if this is the problem. Some people fix it with trans reprogramming kits, and one guy even said that getting his fluid changed helped. Time to switch to a Dodge. Must shove the clutch almost through the floor in order to shift. I dislike the grill front and did not like the wheel size. I had an Avalanche previously and never once had an issue with it.
